All the units of the qualification are internally assessed by the delivery centre and are externally verified by IBT. A combination of coursework and assignments are used for assessment and students will need to show that they meet each of the assessment criteria and learning outcome detailed within each unit of the qualification, to the required standard for the level of the unit.

Diploma Certificates will be awarded following assessment of the candidate’s coursework and assignment. A qualified tutor will examine the evidence and make a decision, which is verified by the external verifier and passed for certification. To be awarded the certificates, candidates must pass all the six units of the qualification. Candidates need to achieve 40% mark in order to pass each unit. The achievement (pass) rates for this qualification are outstanding.

  • The learner needs to have a minimum age of 16 years and above
  • Students must have level 2 qualification in business or any other equivalent vocational area
  • Students must acquire a standard of numeracy and literacy encouraged by a general education that is similar to 4 GCSE at grade A*-C or
  • Students must need a level 2 related qualification or linked work experience
  • International learners whose primary language is not in English, then that student must require 5.5 and above score in the IELTS exams or equivalent exams. Besides, that, learners can participate in the English test, which is carried out in the accepted centres of the IBT qualifications.
